Film Industry Discussion:

This morning in class we had a discussion regarding
This weeks film releases and highlighted these main topics:

* Budgets -

* Too much competition?

Piracy

* Targeting the right Audience

* New Technologies

* Not enough international Film - Too much Hollywood!

* 3D used to capture cinema audiences

Discussion

Generally we thought that the weeks film releases were pretty basic with no blockbuster films coming out. We found out there was only one British film coming out this week at the UK Box Office. Other issues we found were that there was too much competition with roughly 12 new releases every week.
Piracy is another major issue with many people choosing to illegally stream films instead of watching it at the movies.
